If you are a person who has problems with worry, there is always hope. We simply need to reach out to the One who longs to deliver us from the anxiety that can kill, steal, and destroy us. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Cast all your cares upon Him; for He careth for you.
But how exactly do we do that? Here is an exercise that the Lord gave me, and it was such a beautiful experience that I want to share it with you. You may feel that you do not have an hour of your day to spare. But I bet you have often spent an hour worrying.
Take the hour and break it down into four 15 minute segments. For the first segment, be still before God. Next, pray for others. Then pray for your own needs. Finally, spend the last 15 minutes praising the Father.
Give this time to the Lord or waste it fretting; the choice is up to you!
