Oh yes He cares. I know He cares. He really does. He came for you and me. Repeat these precious words until they come alive in the very depth of your innermost being. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the many ways these words can be manifested in and through your life, just as they are in the life of the author.
Let me tell you about the author, the one who will walk you through the pages of this book and tell you her life story. She is the wife of Rev. Robert Holland, minister of Teays Valley Christian Center. They are the parents of two lovely daughters and grandparents of three fine grandchildren. I have known Dolly and her family for about ten years. She accompanied her husband to Green Bank, WV when he came to hold special meetings at the Methodist Church. God had a calling on her life then, but in the last ten years, I have seen such a complete surrender that it is no longer Dolly but Jesus living His life in and through her. She speaks only the words He gives her to say and does only what she sees her Lord do. She is obedient to His every command. Even though she doesn’t see the end results at the time, she still obeys and then waits for Him to give her more.
God knows the heart of Dolly Holland. He sees her humility and obedience. He has entrusted her with Him plans for the “Hurting Women’s Ministry” and has told her exactly what to do and how to do it. We serve a great God! It is when He lives in us, and we in Him that others can see Jesus in us that the fruit of the Spirit becomes evident in our lives as it is in Dolly’s life. There will be some of you who will relate to some parts of her life’s experiences and others will sit in awe of all that she has suffered. She proves to us that Jesus does care, and we can be overcomers through Christ who has come to redeem us and keep us through His shed Blood on Calvary.
I am sure it would please Dolly to know that after reading her book that you would be drawn to surrender yourself to Him, have your sins forgiven, and have eternal life with God. Perhaps you have known this experience but have strayed and you want to return to your first love (see 1 John 1:9), a great promise! It is my prayer that you will receive a blessing as you walk with Dolly, and it will inspire you to have a closer walk with your Lord.
Always in Christ

Prayer is a mighty tool for children of God who make good use of it. Though prayer, barriers are broken down and miracles take place. God changes circumstances as well as many other situations.
It is my privilege to write a few words about a woman who honestly believes that with prayer mountains are moved. God has healed her body many times because of her immoveable faith in the power of prayer.
After reading this book on prayer, I believe that God will open for you what prayer can do, because with prayer mountains are moved.

~WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A WOMAN?
By Dolly M. Holland
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matt. 25:40 KJV). This scripture could be used to sum up the desire Dolly Holland has to help others.
I have known Dolly since 1982 when she and her husband Bob came to a small community to pastor the church where I attended. They left the pastoral ministry for a while to work with troubled youth and later returned to a nearby community to plant a new church. During that time we kept in touch, and now she is my pastor’s wife again. She truly is a sister in Christ and most of all a very good friend. I cherish her friendship.
Dolly has had her share of hurt, but it has given her a heart to see the needs of others without condemning them. As she helps others in their weakness, she grows stronger. Joy shines out of her face as she shares what God has been able to do through her. It brings alive the scripture—the joy of the Lord is our strength. To sum it all up, Dolly knows where that strength comes from, Jesus.
