About Dolly Holland

Dolly Holland and her husband, Robert, are both ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God., and they have been in the pastoral ministry forty-seven years. They have pastored churches in West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia and are now associate pastors at First Assembly in Parkersburg, WV.

In 1985, while serving with her husband as pastors of the Teays Valley Christian Center, Dolly knew the Lord was calling her to start The Hurting Women’s Ministry, a ministry to women in crisis. It was during the first few years of ministering to women in crisis that she started writing and wrote four books—Jesus Cares, What is the Role of a Woman, Mountains are Moved by Prayer, and a book of poetry, Precious Memories.

Dolly and Robert have been married fifty-seven years, and they are the parents of two married daughters, the grandparents of three grandchildren, and the great grandparents of three great grandchildren.

Although they are both retired, Dolly and Robert enjoy being associate pastors and living on their wild life refuge.
