How would you feel if, after you had made plans, God changed them for you? Would you be angry? Or would you understand that He knows what is best for you?
After you have realized that God does have everything under control, would you be able to commit your situation to Him? Or would you worry, fret, and stew around like someone that doesn't know what they are doing?
It is amazing how many people take everything into their own hands, and make it all much worse than it was in the beginning.
The Word tells us that if we do it God's way, it will succeed. Now who wouldn't want to succeed?
Little by little, I am learning that it is much better to trust in God for guidance, than to trust my judgment in matters. God will never let me down. I can always trust in Him.
There are four questions that we need to ask ourselves:
1. Who is God?
2. What can He do?
3. Can He do it for me?
4. Do I really believe He can?
Now let's answer all four questions. God is the great I AM. He is bigger than any problem, situation, any heartache, or pain we could ever have in our lives. And He does understand!
What is it that our God can do? He can do whatever He so desires, whenever He desires to do it. He only wants what is best for you!
Can He do it for you? Of course He can, and it doesn't matter what you have done, or where you've been, because God loves you far more than you could ever imagine!
In searching for the role for all of us, sometimes it is painful, and we stop before we really know what the real answer is.
If we are serious about finding out what our problems are, and how to correct those problems, then it will cause us to want to take what we have and use it for the one who gives us every chance to better ourselves.
Do you believe He can? Only you know that answer for sure. You see, we can never fool God. God knows everything, and He knows how to help us, if we will let Him. To many times when we have been hurt and disappointed in our life, we just fold our arms and give up before the race has ever gotten started, and then we wonder why nothing ever works out for us. There is no place to give up!
