Getting Your Prayers Answered

In Romans 8:17, we discover that we are joint-heirs with Christ. The Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. How precious it is to be with other believers and to experience His sweet Spirit. There is a closeness that we don't often experience even with our own family members. It is heavenly and glorious. It's difficult to put into words how it can affect us.

It's like with God, we know there is a God, but we can't see Him. We feel His presence and know that when we're with Him, there is nothing quite like it.

Matthew 6:8 tells us that He knows our needs before we ever ask. Our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we have need of, and He knows just how to meet that need. So why do we as Christians have such a problem with God answering our prayers? As Isaiah 40:6-8 tells us, His word never changes. So what is the problem?

Is it that He loves one more than another? As Ephesians 6:9 explains so well, He has no favorites.

Could it be that we need to get more serious about where we are with Jesus? Our actions don't always line up with the Word of God.
