CHILD-LIKE FAITH

There are times when we don't understand prayer. If we did, we would realize what a beautiful experience it is to pray. There have been moments in prayer when the presence of God was so real that I wanted to simply linger there. However, I knew that I was to arise and go about my Father's business.

As I have grown in Christ, I have become more aware of how important prayer is to me. It has been a spiritual journey that I have been on because of all that I have gone through. If I had never learned how to pray, or what prayer could do, I would have been destroyed many times.

Who ever said being a child of God was going to be easy?
We go through many different experiences in our lifetime. If we have a teachable spirit, then there is hope for us. We need to always be open to what God is trying to teach us. He wants His children to learn through their mistakes. If they are willing, then it can happen through prayer.

As the saying goes, "You don't throw the baby out with the bath water." Just because our prayers are not answered the first time, doesn't mean we should stop praying altogether.

If we can't pray for a headache, then how will we be able to pray for a more serious issue? We all need child-like faith.
"Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
shall in no wise enter therein" (Luke 18:17).

With children, it is so simple. They pray and expect God to answer their prayers.
